Does Platinum Chauffeur Drive only operate in New Zealand?
No, PCD operates all over New Zealand. We have fleets in Auckland, Tauranga, Rotorua, Wellington, Christchurch, Blenheim, Queenstown and Dunedin.
If I am travelling with children, does PCD have car seats available?
Yes, we provide car seats at a cost of $40.00 per seat for the booking. We regularly update our seats with the latest and most high-end designs and brands to ensure we are provided maximum safety with style.
Which payment methods do you accept?
We accept Direct bank transfer at no additional charge. We also can accept Credit payments however there is a 3.0% surcharge on any Credit Card payments.
Can you recommend sights and destinations?
We most definitely can. Our chauffeurs have a wealth of knowledge they are all too happy to share as well as our reservations team being skilled in designing tour itineraries specially designed to suit your personal interests.
How do I know my booking is confirmed?
You will receive a booking confirmation direct from our reservations system when created by a team member.
Do you have any amenities in the car?
Each car is stocked with premium bottle water, mints and magazines. We also have umbrella, tissues and pens on board for convenience.
Will I know who is driving me?
Driver details are sent the day prior to your booking or, if occurring during the weekend or Monday, the details will be sent on the Friday afternoon. You will be informed of the drivers name, mobile number, vehicle model being driven and the vehicle registration.
Can I pay in the car?
No, our services are pre-paid or you will have an account with PCD that allows payment to be made after completion. Our drivers will not have the equipment to take any payments while the passenger is on board.
